அதில் 2023-24ஆம் நிதியாண்டுக்கான பட்ஜெட்டுக்கு ஒப்புதல் பெறப்படும் எனத் தெரிகிறது. பட்ஜெட்டில் அறிவிக்கப்படும் திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் அதற்கான நிதி ஆகிய அம்சங்களுக்கு இந்த அமைச்சரவை ஒப்புதல் அளிக்கும்.

Petrol, Diesel Prices Today, March 5, 2023: The prices of petrol and diesel remained unchanged on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Prices of both petrol and diesel have not been changed for over ten months now. The last revision in the fuel price was done on May 22, 2022, when Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a cut in the excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and diesel by Rs 6 per litre, respectively.

In Mumbai, petrol is costing Rs 106.31 per litre, and diesel Rs 94.27 per litre to consumers. In Chennai, one litre petro price stands at Rs 102.63 and diesel is priced at Rs 94.24 a litre. Petrol is selling at Rs 106.03 per litre and diesel at Rs 92.76 a litre in Kolkata.

State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) like Indian Oil, Hindustan Petroleum and Bharat Petroleum report fuel price revisions at 6 am, if any, every day
